In the summer of 2025, I interned at Sinclair’s The National Weather Desk (TNWD) in Arlington, VA. Throughout my experience, I created content for all of TNWD's social media platforms through intriguing scriptwriting, storytelling, and compelling breaking weather updates. I wrote engaging weather articles for the National News Desk using Sinclair’s storyline application. Additionally, I gathered footage for ABC7 News/WJLA's social media platforms. With the help of Chief Meteorologist Veronica Johnson and the rest of the WJLA Weather Team, I learned how to create an effective weather broadcast with a green screen and WSI Max software. Also, I participated in the guest selection, procurement, recording, and promotion of the “Off the Radar” podcast, which features weather narratives.
